My approach to women’s wellbeing is that our cycle and our hormones are often a barometer of our wellbeing, signalling the body’s needs, rather than the root cause of the problem.

Women’s health often focuses on the state of our hormones and ‘problems’ we may experience with our feminine bodily functions. We are often told our bodies are problematic, unpredictable and need to be controlled. However, if we consider our cycle to be our 5th vital sign that reflects our overall health we often find the issue lies elsewhere. By helping bring the body in to balance through treatment, learning how to honour our body’s rhythms and needs and practising good self-care, many of these issues resolve themselves.

In my 22 years of practise I have seen that reflexology can be an effective way to help the body come back into balance which in turn helps all our body systems to function better, including our hormone regulation. Many women I have treated for other issues have reported after a while that they no longer have PMS or terrible cramping or that their cycle is more regular.

Reflexology is not a magic cure, but I have seen hundreds of women regain control of their wellbeing, drastically reduce their symptoms, if not finding they go altogether, and can get back to doing what they love in life with confidence and knowledge of how to maintain their healthy balance.

After-care

This is as important as the reflexology itself. Part of my treatment approach is to share information and give some lifestyle suggestions to help you take charge of your own wellbeing.

As an experienced yoga teacher I often share beneficial practises with my reflexology clients to practise at home. This could be breathing techniques, tailored movements or relaxation techniques.

I also signpost to books and other resources that you may find informative and inspiring, services you may need to access or other therapists who can offer more in-depth advice in specialist areas such as nutrition.

You are welcome to come along for ad hoc sessions, however I find best results come from regular sessions. This could be short course to get you on track or regular maintenance sessions. To help you commit to your wellbeing, I have created bundles of treatments at a reduced fee with a time limit (so you actually use them!).

Each package starts from the date of the first appointment used:

3 Sessions Package: - £216 clinic, £246 home visit - valid for 2 months

5 Session Package: £350 clinic, £395 home visit - valid for 3 months

10 Session Package: £650 clinic, £750 home visit - valid for 6 months
